New York Fashion Week is one of the most important, full of designers
and brands that present their best proposals for the fall-winter season.
Let’s see some of the best moments of this fashion week
The American fashion capital is officially open again for business, with the start of another New York Fashion Week kicking off Feb. 6. Brandon Maxwell started the week with a bang—and Thom Browne is set to close it down on Tuesday, Feb. 11. In between, there are over 50 shows and presentations on the schedule, including some highly anticipated returns. Joseph Altuzarra is back after paternity leave, ready to showcase his fall/winter 2025 collection for his eponymous brand. Norma Kamali is on the schedule for the first time in over a decade. Christopher John Rogers, too, is returning after five years without a show on the NYFW schedule. The designer to watch, though, is undoubtedly Calvin Klein’s new creative director, Veronica Leoni, who is bringing the brand back to the runway after a five-year absence.
• The great return to the catwalks of the Calvin klein.Being one of the flagship brands of the 90’s where models like Kate Moss were their muse and main image.Calvin Klein returned to the catwalks under the creative direction of designer Veronica Leoni, who presented a minimalist and elegant collection.Colors like black, beige and gray were the main palette. With silhouettes that paid tribute to the brand and its creator, its elegant and sober aesthetic, like the 90’s decade.
• The floral garden of carolina herrera When we talk about flowers we think of spring, but for this occasion Wes Gordon, creative director of Carolina Herrera, presented us with a collection full of flowers that gives a nostalgic air to fall. With a view of the snow-covered Central Park, and a garden of 3,000 ranunculus flowers, we saw a beautiful collection full of femininity, elegance and details such as embroidery, fabrics, diamonds and of course flowers.
• The dark side of fashion by khaite
The New York brand Khaite has been surprising collection after collection for several seasons.
For this occasion, their proposal allows us to see the most artistic side of Khaite and its creative director Catherine Holstein.
Wide silhouettes, leather, denim, fabric and animal prints, come together in a collection that once presents us with feminine, artistic and modern proposals.
• Solid gold by Ulla Johnson
Designer Ulla Johnson presented a tribute to her mother who passed away in January. As a coincidence, this collection referenced her mother’s artistic practices. Embroidered with gold threads, hand painted flowers.
Delicate, artistic, modern and full of emotion, this collection has been one of the most important of this New York Fashion Week.
