As New York Fashion Week prepares for another season of runway magic, one show stands apart—not just for its aesthetic, but for its purpose. Fashion 4 Ukraine (F4U) returns this fall for its third season, continuing its powerful mission as the only ongoing NYFW show exclusively dedicated to Ukrainian designers.
More than a fashion event, F4U is a cultural movement—spotlighting Ukrainian creativity on a global stage and connecting its designers with international buyers, media, and industry tastemakers.
This season’s show takes place on September 12, 2025, at an iconic Manhattan location: 55 Broadway St. Themed “Falling for New York,” the event explores how Ukrainians are embracing the Big Apple as home, and how the Ukrainian identity seamlessly blends into the fast-paced, fashion-forward spirit of New York.
That theme comes to life in an exclusive photo shoot for Mighty, featuring F4U designer ANNABO, whose work bridges heritage and modernity with poetic ease. Her embroidered linen creations, rich with meaning and history, somehow feel perfectly at home against the steel and glass of Manhattan—proving that culture is not something left behind, but carried forward with pride.
MEET ANNABO: THE STORY IN EVERY STITCH
The name ANNABO is a tapestry in itself—woven from the names Anna (AN), Nataliia (NA), and Borys (BO) Marchenko—a family deeply rooted in craft, culture, and connection. From heirloom embroideries passed down by Ukrainian women to present-day ready-to-wear collections, ANNABO breathes new life into ceremonial cloths, vintage linens, and intricate threadwork.
ANNABO weaves tenderness and strength into every piece—slowly crafted to become future vintage. These garments carry memories, marking weddings, milestones, and everyday rituals—designed to be cherished and passed down for generations.
MEET F4U EXECUTIVE PRODUCER: OLGA IVANIDI
Model, entrepreneur, and fierce champion of Ukrainian fashion—Olga Ivanidi is the visionary founder of F4U. After walking major runways in New York, LA, and Miami, Olga launched F4U in 2024 when she saw zero Ukrainian designers represented at NYFW. Fueled by her roots, modeling career, and background in journalism and business, she created F4U as more than a show—it’s a movement connecting Ukraine to the global fashion scene.
“Beyond producing, I genuinely love modeling for the designers at my show—it keeps me connected to the team and lets me fully experience the journey alongside them. I’m constantly amazed by the quality, creativity, and style Ukrainian designers bring to the runway,” shared Ivanidi.
