One of my favorite trips to Europe was always France because of its history, its gastronomy, and Paris is the world’s fashion capital. What is the participation of our magazine in this fashion week Mighty magazine will be continuously present in this great movement in this industry, collecting information from fashion designers, and the catwalks, showing tourism and
gastronomy in this wonderful city. Since January 2020, the FHCM has managed the SPHERE – Paris Fashion Week® showroom, with the support of LE DEFI and L’Oréal Paris. SPHERE is part of their mission to support emerging designers. It brings together a group of brands invited to the Official Calendar or awarded in fashion, selected for their creativity and development potential.

FRENCH CONNECTION
Cruise through Paris Fashion Week in style this season by taking the train. Once you arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), hop on a direct train to Paris Gare du Nord in just 30 minutes. J’adore! Upon arriving at this superbly located station, hit the streets of Paris and strut your stuff on and off the catwalk as the metro will connect you to every corner of Paris. What is Paris Fashion Week? Paris Fashion Week, known in French as Semaine de la mode de Paris, is a biannual fashion showcase established in 1973 by the Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion. Paris Fashion Week, one of the “Big Four” fashion weeks, ends immediately after New York, London and Milan, and is rightly the grand finale to the month-long
extravaganza.
Where does Paris Fashion Week take place?
Known for its rich French art, fashion and culture, Paris hosts fashion week in locations all over the city, with most of the fashion shows, runways and presentations usually held at Carrousel du Louvre, an underground shopping mall located in the center of Paris.
Where to go in Paris for fashion week?
Like most of the Big Four fashion weeks, Paris shows are invite-only. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t tons of chic places to explore in the city during fashion week.
Espace Éphémère des Tuileries: During Paris Fashion Week, this temporary pop-up space in the Tuileries Garden accommodates fashion shows, presentations, and other fashion-forward events. It’s a short walk from Carrousel du Louvre, the central hub for fashion week events.
Louvre Museum: While you’re in the area, consider visiting the Louvre, one of the world’s largest art museums. Enter via the glass pyramid, which is also the perfect place to capture your outfit of the day! The Louvre is also popular for fashion week shows, having hosted big brands, including the likes of Louis Vuitton.
Musée des Arts Décoratifs: Located in the Louvre, the enchanting Museum of Decorative Arts often hosts world-class fashion exhibitions, making it a must-visit during Paris Fashion Week.
Champs-Élysées: This iconic avenue is lined with luxury boutiques—including flagship stores for fashion labels and beauty brands, like French favorites Lacoste and Lancôme. This is one of the most famous places in Paris for high-end shopping and people-watching. More shopping: luxury department stores The Champs-Élysées hasn’t tired you out? You’d like to continue shopping until you actually drop? Head to Paris’ famed Galeries Lafayette and Le Bon Marché department stores. If window shopping is more your thing, you won’t be disappointed by the extravagant window displays.
Eiffel Tower No trip to Paris is complete without a glimpse of the famous Eiffel Tower. The Champ de Mars, the park surrounding the tower, is perfect for picnics in the summertime or simply a spot to chill between shows. It’s also arguably one of the best places to get that picture-perfect Eiffel Tower selfie!
